Kerry Express HK Account Registration Terms & Conditions
This Agreement is made BETWEEN
Starling Labs Limited and/or Shopline Solutions Limited (as the case may be)(hereinafter “SHOPLINE"), whose business address is 21F, Nam Wo Hong Building, 148 Wing Lok Street, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong,
And
You, as the Merchant under this Agreement, collectively referred to as the "Parties".
DEFINITION
Kerry Express : refer to Kerry Express (Hong Kong) Limited, who provides domestic delivery solution in Hong Kong under the brand name of “Kerry Express”.
WHEREAS:
(i) Customer agrees to register a sub-account to use Kerry Express’s service under SHOPLINE’s master account (ii) The Parties wish to enter into a business relationship in relation to the supply of such services and wish to lay down the terms and conditions applicable to their business relationship in this Agreement.
NOW THEREFORE, the Parties have agreed on the following terms and conditions:
SERVICE FEE
Service Remarks
1. Rates are shown in Hong Kong dollars.
2. Pick up from or delivery to Non-Commercial or Residential Areas, Surcharge is HKD 15.
For example, pick up address and delivery address are Non-Commercial areas, total surcharge is HKD 30.
3. Drop off the parcels in Kerry Express’s self-pick up points, non-Commercial/ residential areas surcharge for pick up is waived.
4. The rates above do not include “In/Out Warehouse Service Charge”, “Outlying Islands Surcharges” and other Special Handling Fees.
5. Labour Charge (if applicable): For buildings without lift or product can only access through staircases, there will be additional delivery charge per floor.
a. If a shipment weights from 1kg to 10kg or the consignee address is between G+1 level and G+8 level, there will be an additional delivery charge $30 per each floor, counting from G+1 level.
b. If a shipment weights above 10kg and the consignee address is between G+1 level and G+8 level, there will be an additional delivery charge $60 per each floor, counting from G+1 level.
c. For the shipment cases not mentioned above, the additional delivery charge has to be further discussed.
6. All services include 10 minutes waiting time maximum but Kerry Express reserves the right to decide if we should wait or not case by case.
Delivery Guidelines
1. The maximum weight of goods must not exceed 20kg. The total of dimensions (length + width + height) of goods should not exceed 160cm. Outlying Islands delivery service for smaller shipments with a weight of 8kg below and the total length of each item cannot exceed 105cm.
2. The chargeable weight (kg) of a shipment is determined by the actual gross weight or the volumetric weight (L x W x H (cm) ÷ 6000) - whichever is the greater.
3. Hong Kong local contact numbers are required for all home delivery orders. If no contact phone number can be given, no proper delivery can be guaranteed.
4. For heavy shipments over 3kg , please contact Kerry Express Customer Service by phone half working day in advance, otherwise no proper arrangements for the cargo service can be provided.
Service Coverage and Service
● The above cut-off and delivery time is only applicable to “Major Commercial & Industrial Areas”. Kerry Express accepts orders through phones, fax and online booking for the above cut-off time.
● Depending on the consignee location or distribution location, additional working days may be required (Please refer to the “Delivery Timetable”). Kerry Express’s services cover the whole area of Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and New Territories.
● The transit times as provided above are for reference only. They are not guaranteed and not from part of contract. Actual delivery time may vary as a result of the situation.
● Weight Limitation: 5kg or below. Maximum Dimension: Length, width and height must be less than 50cm.
● The service coverage of Urgent Express Service includes industrial and commercial areas within Hong Kong Island and specified area within Kowloon and NT, except warehouses, residential areas and remote areas defined by Kerry Express.
● Client can upgrade shipment to Urgent Express service by paying value-added service surcharge on top of the Domestic Express rate.
● In case the order is cancelled after 10 minutes of order confirmation, there will be minimum service charge of $30.
Kerry Express shall ensure that it’s employees shall i) observe the provisions of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Chapter 486, Laws of Hong Kong) when dealing with any personal data provided by the Shipper; ii) immediately notify the Shipper if Kerry Express and / or its employees become aware of breach of this clause including but is not limited to any unauthorized disclosure of personal data.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto through their duly authorized officers have executed this Agreement as of the day and year first set forth above.
